The 2030 agenda for sustainable development is a blueprint adopted by all 2015 united nation member states which aims to improve peace and prosperity for the people and the planet. to further guide us towards this goal, the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGS) were made, each having its own specific goal and indicators.
As students, we can contribute to the prevention of deforestation by volunteering or giving donations to various organizations with the goal of protecting our forests. There exists multple organizations, both local and international, with different, yet effective activities on doing so.
