SDG's Involved

SDG 13

Climate Action

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts

Climate change is one of the pressing issues to this day. It causes most of the environmental shifts that we experience and is even labeled a health problem due to its severity. Like other notable people such as Greta Thunberg, we should take part in addressing this problem and continue to demand urgent yet effective solutions from the governing power.

Our advocacy on forest restoration would not only be able to reduce the effects of the rapid change we are experiencing today, but will also provide a more healthy and sustainable environment where humans can grow and foster.

SDG 15

Life on Land

Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss

Humans depend on the terrestrial ecosystem as much as the oceans for sustenance and livelihoods. As plant life contributes to about 80% of the human diet, agriculture plays an important role in our daily lives. Forests cover 30% of our planet's surface, making it a vital habitat for millions of species of flora and fauna, a source for clean air and water, and the main tool in combating climate change.
